Welcome to Wave Town
It’s full of ups and downs
Come, you’ll fit right in
Let me show you around
Here we have Palpitation Park
It’s where the locals come to run
We’ve all got the timer set
It really is such fun
Up the street there, is the Longing Lounge
Live music every night
Open twenty four hours a day
Zero tolerance policy for fights
Across the road is our Dispair Diner
There you can fill your tummy
Hearty meals at a decent price
I guarantee it welcomes grumbling
Left here, is the Magical Museum
It contains treasures and gold
Tales from the beginning of time
You certainly won’t be bored
On the right, is Fine Future Fort
It’s a secure stable building
The sturdy bricks and strong foundations
Makes this fort a perfect place for hiding
Behind this building is Anger Alley
It’s got some really good bars
There you can dance the night away
And on the road are the taxi cars
Just past the park is the Gentle Grove
It’s where we grow our fruits
We sell them at the market stall
It’s there we place our roots
On the hill is where you’ll be staying
A short stay at the farm
Right between two oak trees
It’s a tranquil place, so calm
Ok, the tour is done
I’m off to play croquet
If you need anything give me a holla
I hope you’ll have a great stay.

Have I been forgotten already?
Has my memory begun to fade?
Can you no longer remember
The contours of my face?
The sound of my voice
No longer an echo
No touch of my skin
Left on your fingertips
The beating of my heart
No longer with yours in sync
What torture time is
As I fade to ghost
Simply a shadow of myself
Wandering aimlessly lost
Haunting the canals
Wailing in wake
Eternal pain
Diminished state
No longer remembering
The contours of my face -
There was a girl with bright blue eyes
Who lived behind thick glass
Watching the world from her window
Enjoying the moments that passed
The sun shone in and warmed her core
The rain would never reach her
Protected by this transparent sheet
She was such a gentle creature
Then one day along came a boy
He reached into the glass
He took one look and held her hand
They fell in love quite fast
But the boy lived in the outside world
Not behind this pane
So each day he would return home
Leaving the girl in pain
She would sob for hours clutching her heart
Behind the glass wall that protects her
It silenced both sides very well
So sadly no one could hear her
Each day he’d come step into the glass
Share a warm embrace
Each night he’d leave end with a kiss
Delicately placed on her face
Back through the glass the boy would go
Continue on with his life
Whilst each time he left her fear would grow
Her heart riddled with strife
They started to quarrel the girl and boy
Their moments no longer gentle
Until one day they just had enough
On parting they decided to settle
Sat in her window the girl looked on
Watching the world go by
Back to his life the boy did go
Never hearing her cry -
The road was long and bright
The sun she flowed so proud
Glistening on the metallic grey
That vroomed past the crowd
The music filled the air
Un chanson debonair
The passengers chuckling
And dancing quite au faire
The atmosphere got thick
Filled with all this love
The tiny little particles
Glowed, glistened and shone
How wonderful this moment
Shared between these two
Mummy and her little girl
The perfect roadtrip crew -
A man of five foot ten
Olive green head to toe
Akin to a backpacker
Of a snowy mountain or so
A face shifty and in flight
He darted through the dark night
Weaving through the streets
With a handbag studded cream
Rummaging in the alley
Walking really fast
God is watching him
Karma’ll glaze her rath
Sweep over this shadow
Who somehow lost his way
I prey he finds the light
And the girl is ok
