If I hold you for a moment
You hold me in return
I gaze into your eyes
Wipe a tear from my frown
My heart on the table
Right next to yours
No judgement in this moment
Just love shining down
Encapsulated by this energy
A safe place to de-shed
And stitch up those wounds
We’ve begun to dread
I’ll hold the needle
You man the thread
Let’s guide each other
Down the passageway
Into the light we tread
Until we’re basking in the sunshine
Surrounded by sea
Sails waft above us
And we’re healed completely.

Why am I here God?
Why am I here?
What is my purpose?
I’m drifting God
I no longer feel
the earth between my toes
Something is calling
Is it a mirror
Or is it You?
Time is trickling
As I fumble, I try
to force the story through
Will You come for me
Or do I need to seek You?
Are You already here?
If I stop I can feel
You’re presence is like air
Everywhere I am
I just need to stop
Listen & feel
I feel you
Why am I here?
Still unsure
Why I am here?
I guess I will fumble
Until I find the ground again
Maybe then I can answer the call -
My heart is pounding
Can’t catch my breath
As I’m thinking of you
Your magnetic energy
Drawing me under
As you pant “I Love You”
I stop for a sec
Let it register
This could get addictive
Your warm skin
And soft kisses
Being less than secretive
You say the words
I long to hear
Make my skin tingle
Pull my hair
Bite my lip
In an impulsive fumble
This feels intense
The world fades
We’re in our bubble
Openly communicating
Of our future causing trouble
It does feel different
But a little familiar
I’ve been in this space before
The start of a new chapter
Perhaps love is at the door
